Privacy Policy ๐Ÿ”’

We believe your screenshots are your business, not ours. Here is our super simple, completely transparent privacy promise.

๐Ÿ‘ป

The Short Version: We see nothing.

Dropshot does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The app does not require you to create an account, enter an email address, or use a password. We do not operate our own cloud servers, which means your screenshots, tags, and albums are completely invisible to us.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ

Photo Library Access

To do its magic, Dropshot requests Read and Write access to your Apple Photo Library. We use this permission strictly to identify screenshots, allow you to organize them, and delete them from your camera roll if you choose to. All processing happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any Dropshot server or third-party service.

โ˜๏ธ

iCloud & Cross-Device Syncing

Dropshot relies on your personal Apple iCloud account to keep your library in sync across your iPhone and Mac. This means your data travels securely between your own devices using Apple's infrastructure. The Dropshot team has zero access to your iCloud data.

๐Ÿ“Š

Analytics & Tracking

We hate creepy tracking as much as you do. Dropshot does not include third-party tracking SDKs (like Facebook or Google Analytics). If the app crashes, we may receive anonymous crash reports directly from Appleโ€”but only if you have opted-in to share analytics with developers in your iOS/macOS settings.
